Guru have given us a psychedelic treat in the form of the new track, Medicine Man. Coming in at six minutes plus, the song builds slowly until it reaches a swarming crescendo of voice, guitar, bass and drums.
The vocals range from calm, almost serene, through to loud. Of all the instruments in this heady brew, its the heavily processed, effect laden guitar sound which really elevates this track. Whilst the bass and drums are punchy in their own right, its the guitar that makes the track so thrilling.
