Gig Review: Red Deer People, The Sidewinder, Friday 18th May 2018

The Great Escape, The Alternative Great Escape and a myriad of other unofficial gigs during the middle of May give the Brighton gig-goer plenty to see.

Venturing into Kemptown Village in a Friday night shows that Red Deer People are playing.

Touted as one of the Best Brighton bands over the last couple of years, their sound can be described as a mix of kosmiche versus early 1980s indie.

Microphone problems didn’t help their cause but they persevered and with songs such as Fun, Fun, Fun and C’Est Bon they kept the crowd enthralled.

Despite the technical issue, they played a great gig. Without technical issues How great will they be? I’m there!
