Straddling a sound somewhere between grunge and indie with a hint of surf and pop too, Black Spring has released nine tracks as Everything I Knew.
Of the tracks, my favourite is Act My Age which is driven by a fuzzy guitar line which nags itself into your brain. The musicianship across all the tracks is first-rate and bodes well for the band’s future.
Looking forward to seeing them play live as their sound would suit a number of different types of band as a support act. Pop enough without being twee and rock enough without being too muso.
