A belated review of the current ep from ARXX, Daughters of Daughters.
This duo has a sound which is a cross between White Stripes meets Royal Blood at times but also incorporates blues and pop too. The singer Hannah has a great voice, powerful when needed but also gentle too, which she uses to embellish and add to the songs. Clara on drums anchors it all together.
Of the six tracks, my favourites are Moments at a Time and Intervention. Catch them live as well. Get this, if you haven’t already and if you have it already listen to it again! Very much recommended.
