Plugged In Brighton favourites Sit Down have been releasing eps and singles at a clip for a while now but as with their last release, Cheap Luxe, and their latest, Take A Seat, their sound has mutated on some tracks to include more electronic influences rather than traditional rock/alt sound.
Take A Seat is an electronica track which changes briefly into an alt-rocker than back again then into an alt-rocker than back again. Knives is a gonzo rock track with a dirty, fuzzy riff which anchors and holds the track together.
Both tracks are good for different reasons but if they maintain a duality of sound going forward, it’ll be interesting to see what influences will be dominant or can they be equal parts rockers and an electronic band?
