Oli Spleen, lead singer with Pink Narcissus and Spleen gives us something that’s different than what he does within these two bands. Taking the chanteuse sound and adding electro embellishments in places, he gives us twelve songs which showcase a different side to his talent. The arrangements are sensitive and reflective to show Oli’s vocals to best effect. The track, Little Lost, features Mishkin Fitzgerald of Birdeatsbaby also. Whilst a detour from the goth rock/electro sound he’s known for, this album fits in with his catalogue in terms of subject matter. Recommended.
