The self-titled debut ep from HOLYGLAM. Recent single ‘Like A King’ kicks off proceedings. It’s post-punk but with a glam rock/yob stomp vibe to it. ‘Superhit’ is a fizzer. ‘Teeth’ is woozy with a woo-woo style refrain. ‘The Game’ is slower than the previous tracks but uses this tempo change well. Final track ‘Hold Me Down’ is another slower track but with psychedelic overtones to it. Guitar work is excellent throughout with effects and cool soundscapes being formed then destroyed.
Post-punk and psych rock fans listen to this. Highly recommended and check them out live too.
