New Our Family Dog EP: Darling Fascist Bully Boy Give Us More Money You Bastard, Love Neil

If reviews were based on the length of release titles, then Our Family Dog would be in all the 2019 End of Year Polls. A three track release, this is punk/post-punk, by and large, but at the artier and experimental end.

The Wire starts with a chugging rock n’ roll riff which mutates into a glam rock drum patterns whilst obtuse lyrics float around.

Simple Simon sounds like a surf-band having a punch-up with Albertos y Lost Trios Paranoias.

Sequel To The Glory Days is the most traditional of the three songs as it comes across like a more laddy/beery Specials. Open minded punk fans should acquire this.
